The project for the construction of SOMA LNG Terminal and pipelines, through which the vaporized LNG gas is transferred, is ongoing and the client planned to prepare the HSE procedure manuals for the project. According to the request of the client, JOE seconded a HSE engineer and he prepared the HSE procedure manuals at the headquarters of the client.
The client had already prepared the HSE policy and HSE Management System (HSE-MS) manual for interior projects as basic HSE-MS.

The HSE procedure manuals were successfully prepared in compliance with HSE policy and HSE-MS manual for the project.

After the preparation of HSE procedure manuals, concrete ideas and criteria for HSE activities have been laid, clarified and clearly established. Thus the client for any project from hereon, will request the contractors to develop their own HSE plan based on the HSE procedure manuals and implement it accordingly. Also with the HSE procedure manuals in client’s hand, JOE expects that the construction and operation will be performed in consideration of HSE diligently by both of the client and the contractor from now on.

In addition, the knowledge and experience of JOE was greatly appreciated about the preparation of HSE procedure manuals. In fact, another HSE engineer was seconded from JOE to the project site to operate the HSE-MS as a staff of the project organization.
